Achilles
Work in progress

Exercise, backed by research

A training plan you can trace back to the evidence.

Achilles asks where you're starting from and what you want, then builds your plan from a library of sports-science and physiotherapy research. Every exercise comes with its dose and the studies behind it.

We're building Achilles now. The app isn't available yet. This page describes what we're making.

The name comes from the Greek Ἀχιλλεύς, often traced to achos (grief, pain) and laos (people). We want to help people out of pain and into training they can keep up.

How it will work

From a few questions to a plan you can follow

  1. Tell us where you're starting

A short set of questions about your goal, how you move today, any pain, the equipment you have and the time you can give. The questions adapt to your answers.

  2. Get a plan built from the research

An AI planner reads from a growing library of studies and trusted sources, then picks your exercises with sets, reps, rest and how to progress. It cites what it used.

  3. Train, log and progress

Each exercise has step-by-step guidance, cues and where you should feel it. Log your sessions and the plan moves forward with you.

Safety first

Some answers mean you should see a clinician, not start a plan

Before anything is planned, Achilles asks a fixed set of safety screening questions. If an answer points to something that needs a medical opinion, the app stops and tells you to get one.

That check is a fixed rule written in advance. The AI planner never decides it. Achilles is not a medical service and does not diagnose.
